Everyone in Hawaii is in a minority group. That's because there is no majority group. Hawaii is the only state in the union like that.

The largest group is Asians at 40%. Then come Whites at 29%, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders at 9%, Hispanics/Latinos at 8% and Blacks at 3%. Persons in Hawaii who claimed two or more races are at 18%.
