Tours make it easy to see Hawaii
in fascinating and unusual ways

Let's face it, it takes a good deal of time to get to Hawaii, even if you are coming from the U.S. mainland.  So you really should make your time in Hawaii count as much as possible toward enjoying your vacation.

That's where a tour can come in to eliminate a lot of the hassle that comes with sightseeing.  The tour guide takes care of getting you where you want to go so you can relax and enjoy your time visiting the attractions in Hawaii.

If your time is limited, Hawaii Wow! recommends that you see Pearl Harbor and the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu.  Then go to the Big Island of Hawaii and take a tour of Volcanoes National Park.

One of the great things about Hawaii is that it has so many different types of ways to take a tour.  Airplane tours are available for Oahu, the Big Island, Kauai and Maui. For something new and totally different as a way to sightsee, take a helicopter tour of those islands.  For a special way to see Oahu, try a glider tour or a tour by seaplane.

There also are special ways to see the sights of Hawaii on the water.  Take the family on a glassbottom boat at the Big Island or ocean rafting in the waters off all four of the main tourist islands.

Hawaii has some unique ways to sightsee under the water, including tours by submarines at Oahu, the Big Island and Maui.  Even more unique is putting on a helmet and going down inside an aquarium tank at Oahu's Sea Life Park. That's not all. You can drive a scooter under the waters off Oahu using a Breathing Observation Bubble, called BOB for short.

Back on land, you can try off-road adventures on Oahu, Hawaii (the Big Island's real name), Kauai and Lanai.

For something really special for the children, and yourself, sign up for an encounter with either dolphins, manta rays or sting rays.  But if you want a real thrill, there are tours for encounters with sharks . . . but you will be inside a shark cage.

If sharks are too scary a thought, then maybe you might take a birdwatching tour.
