Vacation hotspot Hawaii
has unique world attractions
Hawaii not only is a vacation hotspot, but it has a number of attractions that are unique in the world.

For example, the largest city in the world is Honolulu . . . the largest mountain in the world is Mauna Loa on the Big Island of Hawaii . . . the tallest mountain in the world is Mauna Kea on Hawaii's Big Island. Yes, you can tell your friends that you summited the world's tallest mountain.

That's not all. The highest sea cliffs in the world are in Hawaii at Kalaupapa on the island of Molokai. Hawaii has the world's rainiest spot at Mt. Waialeale on the island of Kaui.

And we're still not finished with Hawaii's mountains. Mauna Kea has more astronomical observatories in one location than any other place in the world.

Plus, the best volcano show in the world is in Hawaii at Kilauea on the Big Island. And for an experience that will seem otherworldy, visit Haleakala National Park on Maui.

Back down closer to sea level, you can run through the world's largest maze on the Dole Plantation on Oahu. And you can visit the Parker Ranch, which at one time was the largest cattle ranch in the U.S. and in one way still is. Plus, another vacation stop can be the monument to Captain Cook, who thought the Hawaiian Islands should be called the Sandwich Islands.
