Hawaii
Wow!
Bigger
is better
--maybe
Hawaii, the island that is, is called the Big Island with good reason.
It's so much bigger than all the others.
In fact, it's close to twice as big as all the other islands put together, running 93 miles north to south and 76 miles east to west.
That's not huge geography by mainland standards, but hey, there aren't any tropical islands sitting on the U.S. mainland.
Is bigger really better in Hawaii? That depends on which island is your favorite. You make the call.

The proof is in the poi, as the map clearly shows that the Big Island deserves its name. This is a bird's-eye view and if you want the same in real life, you can take a plane or a helicopter.
